This week, our students in Grades 1-6 participated in Kindness Week at SSA! They prepared cards to give to loved ones and recognized classmates for kind actions on Mitzvah cards throughout the week.
In addition, the students attended a workshop held by our Student Services Department, led by Tamara Schwager, Certified Family Life Educator. In these workshops, they discussed ideas for generating kindness around our school and in the community, as well as ideas for things we can all do to be kind! Together, they made a beautiful Kindness Garden grow in our Main Campus stairwell, full of ideas and positive thoughts. We are so proud of their collaboration and creativity! If you have a chance, feel free to stop by the reception and ask Tara to see the Kindness Garden.
As a complement to the student programs, we also held a parent evening on the topic of Creating Kind Kids. Thank you to those who attended and shared their own ideas with other parents! We are pleased to share the presentation with you: Click HERE. You can also find a photo of our Kindness Garden on Page 7. Happy Kindness Week!
